Erik Oakley announced last week that he was leaving Dynamic Discs. Which came as a surprise to many. He was one of their more prominent figures (Erik is very markable and everyone seems to like him!).
He has whale sacks with his wife Tina Oakley (Owner/Operator). But Erik still has plenty of skills and energy left to compete.
Sure enough he is still touring and will be joining Infinite Discs. Which is huge for him with his style. He’ll be able to play with an open bag (aka throw whatever brands he wants). While also being able to take on other sponsors.
This didn’t look good for Dynamic as they need a star that can win or be in main card competition. However they recently announced Gavin Rathbun (PDGA: #60436) is joining their squad. That’s huge. Be sure to check out our write up on it.
