EV-7 releases new disc. The Phil

What’s been confirmed

From EV-7 website:

Inspired by the Golden Ratio, the Phi is a beadless putter that is slightly less stable than the Penrose. It features a semi-deep profile with a smooth, rounded geometry that is stable enough to handle headwinds and tackle long approach shots with unmatched glide. Those looking to test out a beadless option for putting or a versatile and dependable driving putter, look no further – the Phi is the new golden standard of putt and approach discs.

Flight Numbers:

  • Speed: 3
  • Glide: 4
  • Turn: 0
  • Fade: 1

PDGA Approved on May 17, 2021.

The EV-7 Phi is available a full spectrum of colors in all 4 flexes of our OG plastic blend – Soft, Base, Medium, and Firm.

Orders will ship starting July 26 in the order they were placed – if you are having issues accessing wholesale pricing or need information on bulk and tournament discounts, please contact mason@ev-7mfg.com.

Where can you find it?

Your local retailers should be receiving these soon. We are guessing around late July or early August. With individual sales available by or before September this year.

I myself can’t wait for this disc to release. Putting might be my strongest suit. And I vowed to stay loyal to the Warden (classic burst) by Dynamic Disc. Amazing putter, thought it was the best. Until I tried an EV-7. Instantly fall in love with the plastic and way it felt. I have since converted it to be my main putter. But I do miss the beadless putter at times. So excited to see how these feel and throw. Perhaps it’ll even replace the Penrose.
